Fully renovated abbey farm

In splendid isolation, Ferme de la Tour — “La Tour” — is located in the southern part of the Jura mountains: the Haut-Bugey. It sits within a remarkably wild and now protected natural setting: the Combe de Léchaud, at an altitude of 1,000 meters.

This place, a stepping stone to the vast Retord plateau, is a true natural reserve with rich flora typical of marshy highland plateaus. The four seasons are very distinct there, and its scenery invites relaxation.

An abbey farm built at the beginning of the 17th century by the Abbey of Nantua, Ferme de la Tour is a place for resting both body and mind. It is ideal for family reunions and days of pure tranquility.

A historic farm, La Tour has been completely restored and transformed into a refined and comfortable residence. It includes four double bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, as well as a loft — ideal for families — offering six single beds with a bathroom.

Your events take on a new meaning at La Tour. Inspiring serenity and reflection, the location is well suited for executive seminars as well as business meals, in an uncommon atmosphere.

Rediscover
the calm of nature

A refined and fully restored residence

La Tour is a naturally peaceful site, ideal for gentle activities. It’s a place to rejuvenate, alone, with your family, or with friends. You may meditate and contemplate the beauty and simplicity of nature, the harmony of its architecture and extraordinary timber frame, and the character of its locally sourced furniture — each piece patiently selected and restored.

In the majestic barn space, you can play the piano, practice singing, and enjoy music in acoustics that seem naturally tuned to their surroundings.

French and American billiards, table football, and board games are available on the mezzanine.

Time seems to have stopped at La Tour. From its library, you can choose a classic book that you haven’t yet had the time to read. You may enjoy its chapters by the large fireplace, or in the warmer season, on one of the terraces or on the rocking chair on the balcony.

The interior of La Tour is a non-smoking space, for the well-being and respect of all.
